a little about me……

My interest in styling began at 7 years old. I was constantly rearranging the living room furniture in my childhood home, creating still life arrangements with every tchotchke on my dressing table and lying in bed at night, wondering how the ligth would play on the walls in my room if I painted it a different color.

I began my life in media as the PR rep for IKEA Australia, then became a Design Writer for Australian interiors, architecture, and home magazines. This quickly morphed into decorating and styling interiors and product to accompany my stories.

Then I married an American boy, jumped on a plane, and settled in the USA. I set up shop as a San Francisco-based prop stylist. Fast forward 20+ years, and I now have accumulated one of the Bay Area’s largest collections of tabletop props and surfaces, The Prop Barn, which I draw from for my food and lifestyle shoots and rent to others for theirs. I love creating beautiful vignettes, playing with light, color, texture and form to create images and spaces which bring people joy.

I live in the sunny East Bay of San Francisco with my husband and have two amazing kids in college.
